School Tours includes:

It had been a dream of Ivan Rumley for many years to bring children onto his farm and give them a chance to see how food is produced from vegetables, eggs, chicken to the various different types of meat.
He strongly believes that if you show children how real natural food is grown it is something that will stay with them forever.
With this philosophy in mind we’ve developed 3 programs that will appeal to both younger and older children where they not only get to play with the animals but to see how a working farm is run. It is also a program where teachers will learn a lot too and be able to bring some real experiences and exercises back to the class room.
Infants to 1st Class
- Visit the Pet Farm where the children can get to hold and feed the animals.
- Guided Tractor Tour of the Farm tailored to younger children
- See a cow being milked
- Supervised playtime including Go-Karts, Crazy-Golf, Zip-line and our newly refurbished giant indoor playzone
2nd to 4th Class
- 2 hour Guided Farm Tour explaining how the farm works for domestic and exotic animals
- The Working Farm The children will learn about where the food chain begins and ends.
- A visit to Rumley’s Robotic Milking Parlour
- Opportunity to play in our activity centre and meet the animals in our Pet Farm
5th and 6th Class
- 2 hour Guided Farm Tour introducing the exotic animals and explaining how the farm works for domestic and exotic animals
- The Working Farm The children will learn about where the food chain begins and ends.
- A Visit to Rumley’s Robotic Milking Parlour
- Guided Tractor Ride
- Opportunity to play in our activity centre and meet the animals in our Pet Farm
Food options are also available. (Chicken goujons, sausages and chips or pizza and chips with a selection of cordials).
The food prices are €5 per child.
One teacher with every ten children goes free. A complimentary tea/coffee will be offered to the teacher(s) and your bus driver.
